Fjord Elegance

That's it! I believe I may actually finally be done with this one

It's taken longer than I thought it would, partly because I have been experimenting with it and partly as the computer thought it would be kind of fun to freeze on me a few times. Apparently this old computer doesn't like to handle normal large files like this, multiple layers on top of each and having to WORK, all at the same time

I think I made it though, now just waiting for it to upload, which is also taking some time as it isn't resized or anything... You never know when the original size may come in handy.

It's my first Fjord, it's been rather fun doing this one, but now I want to do another type of horse, hehe.

Facts:
It's a Norwegian Fjord - they are usually pony size, but also comes as a small horse. It's well known for the colors and many tend to have an "eel" down the neck, over the back and down the tail. The mane is usually cut short and reveiling this stripe in it. They are rather strong and a pony draft, they are usually well tempered, although they can be known to be a bit lazy.

This one I started on this weekend, no idea how long it's taken as gimp froze and I went and did other fun things...

All made in gimp; mane + tail is made with a regular round brush (lots of strokes), no special brushes used for that. Background has had a touch of my own funny brush, I like making textured brushes like that.
